
Thomas Fryar is a Substance Use, Trauma, and Neurodiversity Specialist, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. At Prasad Counseling & Training, Thomas integrates Gestalt Therapy into his work, emphasizing present-moment awareness, emotional processing, and increased insight into behavioral and relational patterns. Thomas has specialized experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent presentations. He provides structured, affirming, and individualized care that supports clients in building communication skills, emotional understanding, and practical strategies for daily functioning. He also facilitates one of the practice’s therapy groups, creating a structured and supportive environment where clients can connect with others, reduce isolation, and practice new skills in real time. His group leadership reflects his belief that healing is often strengthened through shared experience and relational learning. Thomas works with a range of concerns including substance use disorders, trauma, autism spectrum conditions, OCD, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression. He offers primarily in-person sessions with some virtual availability when clinically appropriate.
