Depression Diagnosis

Across the world, irrespective of a country’s wealth, a misdiagnosis is common when it comes to depression. For instance, healthcare professionals may diagnose people without depression as having the condition and diagnose people with depression as having a different health condition.

Fortunately, there is help. Depression is highly treatable with psychological therapy, medication, or both. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are among a number of effective treatments.
